Romance Rewind: Just Your Typical Everyday Groceries…
Edmund laughed so hard he had to place his hands on his knees to catch his breath.

Edmund smirked as he walked into the house with a bag of groceries in each hand.
“What’s got you so happy?” asked his wife, Marcy.
“I got a few things that weren’t on the list,” he replied. He placed the bags on the kitchen table and pulled out a tall can. “This can of peanuts was half off. Here, try some.”
“Half off? Are they expired?”
“No, it says so right on the bottom. They’re good until August.”
“August of what year?”
Edmund sighed. “Give them a try. They’re good. I had some on the way over.”
Marcy opened the can and an array of multi-colored streamers popped out.
Edmund laughed so hard he had to place his hands on his knees to catch his breath.
“After all these years, Ed. You still feel the need to prank me.”
“It’s because I love you,” he replied.
Marcy smiled and rolled her eyes.
“I love you, too. Now please tell me you got actual groceries.”
