Charles Splints is a hardboiled detective created by Dan Leicht. He resides in the fictional city of Brooksend.

This is a character I’ve been writing for over a decade! You can see some of the evolution in this character and the city he inhabits in the stories below (also in my writing).

I hope you’ll venture into the city of Brooksend with me and solve a case or two with Charles Splints (whether you read the hardboiled traditional series or the more humorous Young Charles Splints series).
